The Embroidery
The motif is called 山岚 (shān lán) — mountain mist. It is a classical landscape composition rendered entirely in embroidery: rolling peaks layered in gold thread, silver-grey cloud formations drifting between them, an ivory ground that reads like silk paper under a master's brush. Every stitch follows the contour of the mountains, building form through thread the way ink wash builds form through gradation.
This design holds a registered copyright, protected under Chinese intellectual property law. It exists on this bag, and nowhere else that is authorised.
Materials and Construction
The body is constructed in warm cognac-toned leather with contrast white topstitching throughout, giving the silhouette a structured, architectural quality. The embroidered panel forms the front and back faces of the tote, framed by leather gussets and handles. Hardware is gold-toned, with the Tang Heritage medallion charm suspended from the handle join.
The bag carries comfortably by its twin top handles or as a shoulder or crossbody bag via the detachable long strap. Interior volume accommodates a phone, earphones, cards, and a lipstick easily.
