Most rings sit on the finger. This one takes it over.

The Sovereign Dragon Ring is built around a fully sculpted dragon head that rises from the band in three dimensions: horns extended, mane fanned outward, jaw set with quiet authority. Premium cubic zirconia cover the face, the mane, and the entire open shank in a continuous field of light, so the piece does not simply catch the eye. It holds it.

The band is open and adjustable, designed to sit low on the finger while the dragon head commands the space above. In gold, it reads as ceremonial and bold. In silver, it is sharper, colder, architectural. Both carry the same presence.

Cultural Symbolism

The dragon head in Chinese visual tradition is not a decorative motif. It is an emblem of sovereignty. The horned dragon — 有角龙 — represents the highest order of the dragon lineage, the one associated with heaven, imperial authority, and the governing of fate itself.

To render the dragon head in full sculptural relief, facing forward, eyes open, is to depict the dragon at the moment of full manifestation. Not coiled in waiting. Not in motion. Present, alert, and fully arrived.

There is an old understanding in Chinese culture that certain objects carry the energy of what they depict. A dragon worn with intention is not simply an ornament. It is a declaration.

Key Features

  • Motif: Fully sculptural dragon head in forward-facing relief, with extended horns and fanned mane
  • Stone setting: Premium cubic zirconia set across the dragon's face, mane, and the full length of the open shank
  • Band design: Open adjustable band, fits a range of finger sizes
  • Plating: 18k gold-plated finish over copper base, with double-thickness electroplating for lasting wear
  • Colourways: Gold, Silver
  • Size: Size 17 (adjustable)
  • Stone: Multi-faceted cubic zirconia, refracts light from multiple angles

Craftsmanship and Materials

The ring is cast in copper and finished with 18k gold electroplating at double the standard industry thickness, which gives the gold colourway its depth and resistance to fading. The silver colourway achieves the same through a polished rhodium-tone finish.

The cubic zirconia are set across every surface of the dragon form, including the shank, so the piece reads as continuously illuminated rather than decorated in sections. The open band allows for adjustment without compromising the structural integrity of the setting.

Skin-friendly and resistant to tarnishing with proper care.

Emotional Positioning

There are pieces made to be noticed from across a room. The Sovereign Dragon Ring is one of them. It does not ask for context or explanation. The dragon head speaks plainly, in a visual language that has been understood for centuries.

For those who wear their heritage without apology. For those who understand that the most powerful statements are the ones made quietly, on the hand.

Note on Care

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid contact with water, perfume, and skincare products
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth
  • Remove before swimming or sleeping
  • The open band may be adjusted gently; avoid repeated bending at the same point
