Rivers and Mountains Jade Fan Hairpin

The name 山河锦成 speaks of rivers and mountains woven splendid as brocade, an image of a flourishing, beautiful land. Here that landscape is painted in enamel across a small folding fan, a scholar's emblem of refinement, with a butterfly, a pearl, and a natural Hetian jade (和田玉) drop swaying below.
