The name 凤栖翎影 evokes a phoenix at rest and the soft shadow of its plumage. The design draws on the scrolling foliate patterns of nineteenth-century court textiles, reimagined and woven into fine cashmere as a tonal jacquard, the motif catching the light in the same colour family rather than in contrast, so it reads as quietly antique yet never dated. Cashmere is the fine down grown at the root of the goat's fleece, prized as soft gold, and here it is spun to an exceptionally fine count for a wrap that is featherlight and full of drape.
