At Tang Heritage, we don't really think of this as just a jade bracelet. To us, it's more like a "wearable sanctuary." The dual-loop version is for the person who wants that silent forest wrapped twice around the wrist, closer, quieter, harder to ignore.
Cultural Symbolism
The whole soul of this piece comes from the Tang Dynasty. We are obsessed with that specific "Qinglu" (青绿) blue-green landscape style you see in ancient silk paintings, that misty, deep-green feeling of a mountain right after it rains. The original Chinese name for this design is 青岚晓梦, roughly "green mist, dawn dream," and honestly that says it better than we can. It's a tribute to 1,000 years of heritage, but we wanted it to feel completely at home in a modern editorial shoot.
Key Features
-
A Personal Landscape: Because of the natural inclusions, no two of these are the same. When you buy one, you're owning a 1-of-1 original "painting" made by the earth.
-
The Double Wrap: The strand loops twice around the wrist, so you get two lines of colour sitting together. It reads as layered without you having to stack anything.
-
Fine Bead, Soft Drape: At roughly 5mm, the beads are small enough that the strand moves like a ribbon rather than sitting stiff. The colour reads as one continuous wash of green instead of separate stones.
-
The "Azure" Shift: The colour is a moody, saturated green. In some lights it's a deep forest shade, in others it hits that "Azure" tilt that feels very ancient and rare.
Craftsmanship & Materials
The Stone
We chose African jade specifically because it has a "mood" you just don't find in mass-market stones. It belongs to the quartz jade family, and we looked for pieces with what we call "Marks of the Earth":
-
Misty Cotton: That internal white veining that looks exactly like fog rolling through a canyon.
-
Golden Speckles: Tiny mineral "stars," known in Chinese as 洒金 or "sprinkled gold," long read as a sign of incoming fortune.
-
Mineral Specks: Small dark flecks, proof of a million-year journey.
-
Colour Root: The natural source of green rising from within the stone, deeper in some beads than others.
The Build
-
The Silhouette: Clean, fully rounded beads. No carvings, no distractions. We wanted the stone to be the entire story.
-
The Finish: A glossy, museum-quality "water-head" polish. It's so smooth it honestly feels liquid, catching the light like a still pond.
-
The Bead Size: Approximately 5mm, cut small and uniform so the double loop stays fine and close to the skin rather than bulky.
Bracelet Size
The Mountain Mist African Jade Dual-Loop Beaded Bracelet is slightly elastic and designed to wrap twice around most standard wrist sizes comfortably. As it has a gentle stretch, it generally fits most wrists well. Sizing follows the option selected at purchase.
Emotional Positioning
This is for the person who values silent grace. It's high-end and editorial, sure, but it's rooted in something much deeper. It's about turning the chaos of modern life into something steady, cooling, and permanent. It's not just jewellery, it's a tool for calm.
A Note on Care
Since this is a natural stone, it prefers a gentle touch. Just wipe it down with a soft, lint-free cloth after you wear it. We'd stay away from any harsh chemicals or those vibrating ultrasonic cleaners, they're a bit too much for a stone this soulful. When you aren't wearing it, keep it in a fabric-lined box so it stays tucked away safely.
A Note on Natural Variation
African jade is a natural mineral and individual variations may occur. The images shown are sample specimens; please refer to the actual product received.
Authenticity Certificate
If you choose to include the authenticity certificate, please allow an additional 3 to 4 business days for our artisans to complete a careful inspection and prepare your official certification.
