Flower Decree Jade Hairpin

The name 簪花令, "the flower-wearing decree," recalls an old Chinese custom, 簪花, the wearing of fresh flowers in the hair, a courtly grace celebrated in the Song dynasty for both women and men. This hairpin carries that spirit in a small cluster of enamel blossoms and leaves, set with a leaf of natural Hetian jade (和田玉).

Key Features

• Enamel blossom cluster. A small spray of flowers and leaves worked in soft enamel over gold, a nod to the old grace of wearing flowers in the hair. Choose the rouge pink or the azure blue colourway.
• Hetian jade leaf (和田玉). A smooth leaf of natural Hetian jade sits within the cluster, prized for its soft, translucent warmth.
• Slender pin. A fine, tapering pin that slips neatly into an updo.
• Thickened 18K gold plating. A generous plating layer gives a deep, even lustre and holds the fine detail through wear.

Care
