Fire Goat 2027 Three Goats Auspicious Gold Foil Wall Art

The goat is gentle by nature, and in Chinese tradition it has long stood for good fortune and all things going as one wishes. The word for goat, 羊, shares its sound with 阳, the yang of the new year. When three goats appear together, the image is called 三阳开泰, three goats heralding a prosperous beginning, a wish for renewal as the year turns.

This wall art is drawn from a Qing dynasty Qianlong-era Guangxiu embroidered screen panel on white satin, in the Palace Museum collection. The three goats graze beneath blossoming branches while birds wheel overhead and a red sun rises, now set against a ground of shimmering gold foil.

Key Features

• Palace Museum Heritage Design - The artwork comes from a Qianlong-era Guangxiu embroidered "Three Goats Usher in Spring" screen panel. The soft white goat, the golden goat and the dark goat stand together in a garden of spring blossoms.
• 三阳开泰 Three Goats Usher in Spring - Three goats together call in the first yang of the year. The phrase carries the wish for an auspicious start to the year and the renewal of all things.
• Gold Foil Finish - The scene is printed on imitation gold foil, so the whole picture glows with a warm golden light that suits the festive season.
• Fine Embossed Texture - A gentle embossed texture gives the surface a subtle raised feel, echoing the stitches of the original embroidery.
• Gold-Tone Frame, Ready to Hang - The damp-resistant frame has a gold metallic look and a sawtooth hanger on the back. Two no-drill hooks are included, so it can be hung without making holes in the wall.
• Gift-Ready Packaging - Arrives in a corrugated carry box with a handle, convenient for gifting or carrying home.
• The Fire Goat Year - 2027 is the Year of the Fire Goat, a pairing that occurs only once every sixty years. Hanging an auspicious goat painting in the home in a Goat year is a graceful way to welcome the year's energy.
