The name 落英缤纷 comes from Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Spring, describing petals drifting down in bright profusion, a vision of a hidden, idyllic world. Here that scattering of blossoms is woven into fine wool as a two-tone design, the flowers reading in one shade against the ground and reversing to their opposite on the other face, so a single scarf turns from bloom to field as it moves.
