The name 逐梦行旅 speaks of a journey taken in pursuit of dreams, and it recalls the old Chinese saying that one should read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand li (读万卷书，行万里路). This square gathers the scenes of such a journey into a single composition: sunlit conservatories with arched lattice windows, rooftops of distant towns, mountains beneath drifting cloud, and gardens of lilies, irises and tulips drawn in fine line. Each scene is set in its own panel, like pages from a traveller's sketchbook, and framed by borders of trailing blossoms. Printed on both faces in two harmonised colourways, it offers two moods in one piece of silk.
