An Artisan's Pride

The embroidery you see on these bags is created by a national-level master of intangible cultural heritage, one of the few artisans officially recognised for preserving and advancing China’s traditional embroidery arts.

Decades of mastery, study, and refinement come together in every stitch.

This level of craftsmanship demands both technical precision and intuitive artistry, guided by traditions passed down across generations.

A Pattern That Has Lived For Over 2,000 Years

Ten-Thousand Vines Bucket Tote

The first piece features the Intertwined Branch & Lotus motif (缠枝莲花), also known as the Ten-Thousand Vines.

Originating in the Han Dynasty and flourishing through the Tang, Song, and Ming, this motif symbolises:

Executed using the demanding Yun Brocade embroidery technique, the vines flow rhythmically across the leather panel, making it look structured yet fluid and visually rich yet restrained.

An Idealised Bloom, Perfected Through Centuries

Treasure Floral Short Tote

The second piece is embroidered with the Treasure Floral (宝相花) motif, one of the most iconic decorative patterns in classical Chinese aesthetics.

Unlike naturalistic flowers, the Treasure Floral is symbolic, not literal. It is an idealised bloom that is imagined and perfected over time.

Within its symmetrical composition, you’ll find echoes of:
